- Metal: For any indoor metal, regular dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
- For extended protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, easily available at hardware stores.
- If your furniture is powder-coated, it is highly durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, take extra care to keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers and bring them indoors during the winter if possible.
- If you notice rust, remove it with kerosene and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
